Hey, I’m Matt Rutter, an award-winning photographer, digital artist, published author, and user-generated content (UGC) creator based in Cleveland, OH (and sometimes Memphis, TN). My style can be described as chiaroscuro [kya-roh-SKOO-roh], an Italian term which literally means 'light (chiaro) - dark (scuro).' It's the use of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition. Drawn to the storytelling potential of photography, I blend natural scenes with imaginative elements to evoke emotions and spark conversations. Whether it’s the vibrant energy of a concert, the quiet beauty of a street scene, or collaborating with brands on user-generated content, my goal remains the same: to create images that resonate deeply and leave a lasting impression.Explore my Services
